THE BRAND

The genesis of the project

We are three childhood friends: Arthur, Simon and Aïmane.

Driven by a shared passion for beautiful clothing, we founded MAISON LES DAMES with a simple goal: to reinvent jeans while respecting their history and heritage.

Originally from the Nantes region, we put aside LU biscuits and muscadet (even if we never get tired of them) to move to Paris and work there. And even if we don't like the metro, we promised not to leave until we opened our shop there.

Denim, or more simply jeans, is much more than a garment for us.

From icons like James Dean and Marlon Brando, this material has crossed the ages to become a true symbol of fashion.

But do you really know the history of denim? We must give credit where credit is due...

Denim, or "Nîmes twill", was born in the 17th century in the Cévennes, where shepherds, faced with the challenges of work, designed a fabric that was both robust and durable.

Centuries later, a certain Levi Strauss would popularize this invention, and the "Nîmes twill" would become the denim we know today.

And yes, jeans are a French invention. At MAISON LES DAMES, we are committed to preserving this tradition and continuing to keep this story alive today.

French know-how

This is why each of our pieces is made in France, in workshops where quality and craftsmanship are the key words.

We work closely with historical partners, established in the region for decades, to offer you the best of French know-how.

Our creations take shape in the north of the Paris region, between Pantin and the 19th arrondissement of Paris, a place where craftsmanship meets modernity.

We draw on the historical excellence of French know-how in the clothing industry to bring to life a wardrobe that revisits the traditional codes of workwear, combining simple and refined aesthetics with meticulous execution of finishes.

The wardrobe we develop is the one we like to wear every day: comfortable cuts, strong but timeless pieces.

Over time, we understood that a real pair of jeans was worth a thousand other mediocre ones. And as we grew up, the search for the best quality became essential for us.

Each piece we create is the fruit of this quest, with a single objective: to offer a garment designed to last, manufactured locally, according to the rules of the art.

And why Maison Les Dames?

Come on, we'll tell you the story:

We had already started creating clothes before finding the name of our brand.

And it was while walking around the production workshops that the idea came to us.

What we knew was that we wanted to manufacture in France to pay tribute to the historic know-how of our country.

And by going back and forth to the workshops, we realized one thing: it is women, who we call the Dames des Ateliers, who master French textile know-how, our daily fight.

And that’s why we chose Maison Les Dames, as a nod to their talent, their precision, and their passion.

In addition to being a name that pops, we find that it reflects well the message that we carry: to keep it simple, beautiful, while paying tribute to those who make it all possible.

  • Our jeans are born in Paris

Each pair of jeans comes to life in Pantin, where artisans and tailors perpetuate excellent know-how.

Manufacturing in France means supporting the local economy, reducing our environmental impact and guaranteeing ethical conditions for people.

  • With threads that make sense

We always favor responsible materials: organic fibers, upcycled fabrics, revalued scraps, labeled materials.

Our choices combine quality, ethics and environmental respect.

Our clothing is designed to last, while remaining faithful to your values and those of the future.

  • And a transparent path to your door

On each product sheet, we share the precise manufacturing cycle, so you know what you are wearing.

Our fabrics are sourced through local imports, mainly in Europe, Türkiye and Morocco, to combine quality and proximity.
