DESCRIPTION :

These shorts are made in Pantin , in our partner workshops.

Made with 100% cotton denim grown, harvested and woven in Spain, it offers a thick and durable material for a flawless fit and a super comfortable relaxed fit . At the back, two large original pockets add a unique touch, while the front remains simple with two discreet pockets.

The shorts feature a hybrid waistband : an elasticated back for optimal support and easy donning, and a front with a metal button closure. Belt loops allow you to adjust the waist with a belt if necessary.

The denim has undergone a "bleach" wash , which gives it this very lightened color.

    +
  • Your shorts are made from 100% cotton denim fabric. The best way to care for your denim… is to wash it as little as possible! So be careful not to wash it too many times, choose a cold wash and air dry, to respect the natural fibers that make up your denim.

For those who spend the summer in swimming shorts

Yes, we know the song, every summer it's the same story for us too. Around June 15, Aïmane lets out his traditional: "I really have to buy myself some shorts for the holidays, I don't have anything decent." Then, when the day of departure arrives, he takes the same shorts as the previous year... and wears them over and over for 15 days.

Usually, it's a pair of swimming shorts, which he wears both for swimming and for hanging out in town. And he's not the only one. We all have in our circle - no need to name names - that specimen of the minimalist vacationer, whose only "summer shorts" are none other than sports shorts. At our place, it's often basketball shorts, because we're more of a parquet team than a lawn team.

So this year, we had to change things up. We decided to create shorts that were as comfortable as sports shorts, but with a cut and finish worthy of a truly beautiful garment.

And these shorts are available for pre-order, so if you don't want to end up like Aïmane every year and get your hands on them before they disappear, you'll have to be quick. We're not promising a restock, or unlimited stock: once production starts, it's over (or almost).

That's why I advise you to click on "notify me", to be informed from the first minute.

So, are you ready to make the most of it this year?

Made in France? Everyone gives a **** about it!

To all French people, from France and Navarre: we know it well, made in France is not what makes you jump for joy...

The Germans, on the other hand, swear by their cars, their tools and their engineering, convinced that nothing can match their know-how. In France? It's as if only wine and cheese are worth bragging about - while we excel in many other areas.

So yes, 98% of French people don't really care about made in France... but not us!

    BUT THEN, WHY PERSIST?

Producing our clothes 200 meters from home rather than on the other side of the world was obvious. But made in France is not enough: no one wants a poorly made garment, even if it is local.

We know that you want to consume differently, but responsible fashion is often vague. Our mission is therefore also to explain to you, without detour, how our clothes are made. Not with vague terms that we see everywhere, but with concrete, transparent, and above all, understandable facts.

And in a slightly more selfish way, made in France is for us the only way to sleep soundly.

Why? Because we PERSONALLY know every craftsman who touches, cuts and assembles our clothes. We sometimes see each other even outside of work: moving on December 30th? Done. A match at the Parc on Sunday evening? Done too. Accompanying our seamstress to buy a new computer because she knows nothing about tech? With pleasure.

It is this proximity that makes the difference: we do not simply place an order, we perfect it together. And it is thanks to this trust that we can guarantee you the quality we promise.

Nice clothes are good, but they're not enough.

For those who already know us, you know that MAISON LES DAMES is committed to sustainable fashion… blah blah blah.

We're not going to give you the same speech as everyone else - today, everyone is talking about eco-responsibility.

The real question is: what are we actually doing to deliver on this commitment?

Well, the Short Metro is a perfect example of this. It embodies our constant commitment to improving our products.

REDUCING THE DISTANCE: FROM MOROCCO… TO SPAIN

Little anecdote: most of our denim pieces are made from a canvas produced in Morocco.

A beautiful canvas, certainly, but for these shorts, we found even better. And when we find better, we don't look at the prices (to the great despair of Simon, our master of finances...).

The denim used for these shorts is made in Spain, with cotton grown and harvested on site. Fewer kilometers, more traceability, always the same requirement.

Little by little, we are reducing the distance and refining our choices. Who knows, maybe one day, our denim will be entirely made in France… who knows?

You don't change a winning team

“Metro Pants”, “Metro Shorts”... you get it, these shorts are obviously inspired by our Metro Pants, which you loved, and for which we receive restock requests every day.

We've taken its relaxed cut, but in a summer version. Loose enough to move freely, structured enough not to give the impression of being in pajamas.

As for length, let's be clear:

For fans of ultra-short shorts? Move on.

For those who are still hesitant about the XXL “jorts” that we saw everywhere on Instagram last summer? Good news: trends come and go, but a good pair of well-cut shorts will last."

The Short Metro falls just below the knee. Not too long, not too short: just what you need to get through the seasons without a false note.

The secret of comfort is hidden in the small details

Because comfort remains our priority, we designed the waistband of the shorts as a real asset: elasticated at the back, it adapts to your body shape and offers you optimal freedom of movement.

Result? Shorts that can be put on in the blink of an eye, without ever being too tight. Thanks to jogging pants for the inspiration!

Except that jogging pants are cool for hanging out at home… but we wanted better.

So we added a buttonhole closure at the front and belt loops for those who like to accessorize their outfit with a nice belt as a finishing touch.

The comfort of jogging pants, with added style.

    Pockets that tell a posture

You know those moments when you're waiting for the metro, leaning against a bar or a wall, your hands behind your back?

Well, we took this universal posture to design our semi-lateral back pockets. Large, practical, and above all, placed right where your hands naturally want to go.

In addition to being practical, they bring a real originality to the design and an ergonomics that you cannot find elsewhere, at least not to our knowledge.

Every cut, every seam has been designed to combine style and utility, right down to the details that make all the difference.
